The Abu Dhabi Global Market’s (ADGM) Registration Authority has established regulations governing Web3 organizations, including blockchain foundations, decentralized autonomous organizations, and traditional foundations expanding into DLT. ADGM’s regulatory framework is said to be the first of its kind and designed specifically for the industry. The regulations stipulate that a DLT Foundation must be established by submitting a signed charter and must disclose the names of key figures, but its token holders will be treated as beneficiaries. The initiative is part of ADGM’s strategy to establish itself in the digital assets and blockchain sectors.
