FTX Could Have a Future Under New Management: SEC Chair

FTX, the bankrupt crypto exchange, could have a future under new leadership, according to SEC chair Gary Gensler. Gensler said the exchange could work if new management obeyed the law and built trust with investors. Last week, FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried was convicted of fraud charges, including money laundering. The firm went into bankruptcy a year ago after allegations that it was passing client money to its sister hedge fund. Former NYSE president Tom Farley is reportedly among three bidders vying to buy the bankrupt crypto exchange.
