1. Bullet-proof Mercedes-Benz S680
In July this year, Mukesh Ambani bought a Mercedes-Benz S680 worth over Rs 10 crore, according to DNA. In the S680 Guard, Ambani was seen accompanied by a convoy that included a Range Rover, MG Gloster, and Ford Endeavour.
The Deep Red Mercedes-Benz S680 Guard, weighing nearly 2 tonnes more than a standard S-Class, is powered by a robust 6.0-liter V12 engine generating 612 Ps and 830 Nm of torque. The luxury sedan boasts reinforced tires capable of running flat at speeds up to 80 km/h.
Featuring a special integrated shell, bullet and blast-proof multi-layer glass, and holding the VPAM VR 10 specification, it stands as one of the highest-certified ballistic civilian vehicles. The car also sports an onboard intercom for communication with the driver.
Ambani’s penchant for bulletproof luxury isn’t new; he previously owned the S600 Guard before opting for the S680.
