Moonen Yachts has unveiled the updated interior design concept for its latest Moonen 122 Martinique yacht, YN205, giving potential buyers a glimpse of the luxurious living spaces on board. The Dutch luxury yacht builder is collaborating with Hollander Yacht Design to craft the interior, which can be customized according to the owner’s preferences.
Set for delivery in April 2025, the Moonen 122 Martinique promises a blend of refined elegance and modern sophistication. The interior exudes serenity, featuring lightly grained tay and wall panels wrapped in elegant white Jacquard fabrics. Classical elements such as metal strips, glossy dark walnut accents, and onyx stone tops add a touch of luxury.
Soft, sculptural furniture pieces contribute to a relaxed atmosphere, while elegant light fixtures elevate the yacht’s ambiance. En-suite bathrooms boast bright and airy spaces adorned with Crema marble and mother of pearl effect mosaics, contrasting beautifully with basins of rich black and gold marble.
With an impressive 345GT volume and high ceilings, the Martinique offers breathtaking views through its panoramic windows wrapping around both the Main and Bridge Decks. The forward-facing Owner Stateroom on the Main Deck is bathed in natural light, providing a tranquil retreat. Accommodation includes two spacious VIP Staterooms and two Guest Cabins on the Lower Deck.
Moonen’s Technical Director, Nicky van Zon, emphasizes the shipyard’s commitment to owner involvement in customizing the design. With in-house experts overseeing the build process, Moonen can swiftly accommodate owner requests, ensuring a personalized experience.
Beyond its luxurious interior, the Martinique boasts exceptional performance, characterized by low noise and vibration levels for comfortable journeys underway. As a fast displacement, long-range yacht constructed from High Tensile Steel and aluminum, it offers a top speed of 17 knots and a transatlantic range of 4000 miles.
Moonen Yachts is a yacht builder based in the Netherlands, and its first yacht was built in 1964 under the original yard name of De Ruiter. In 1981, the yard was renamed Moonen Shipyards. It’s launching its first vessel under new ownership: Alhena. In 2017 Moonen Shipyards changed into Moonen Yachts.
