Signs of change are surfacing in a major way in Denver’s luxury real estate scene. This spring, competition among buyers looks to be heating up, so if making a move in or around the Mile High City is on your 2024 vision board, start shopping now.
According to the Denver Metro Association of Realtors (DMAR), January saw a flurry of new listings, up by nearly 173 percent over December and 40 percent over last January. Buyers’ appetite is meeting the increase in inventory, too. Pending sales were up approximately 46 percent over last month and 23 percent over last January.
“Competition between buyers is picking up and will continue to do so in the months ahead as we enter our busier time of year in Denver Metro and can expect buyer and seller activity to ramp up further after the Super Bowl,” said Nick DiPasquale, realtor and DMAR Market Trends Committee member.
