CLEVELAND (WJW) — Perhaps a gold bar shaped like a stick of butter doesn’t seem that necessary, but a certain one being given away by Ritz is worth $100,000.
In honor of its limited release of Buttery-er Flavored Crackers, the brand is offering cracker enthusiasts the chance to win a 24K gold bar of butter emblazoned with their logo.
The bar was crafted by jewelry artist Greg Yüna, who explained in a press release that “I immediately knew that this project was something that my team and I could execute and have fun with – because one thing we definitely know how to do, is to be extra.”
To be eligible to win the gold bar, you don’t technically have to purchase anything, but, starting May 1 you have to let your TikTok followers know about your love of Ritz crackers.
Using a special Live Buttery-er TikTok effect on your video, you then have to post it along with the tag @theritzcrackersofficial and hashtags #livebutteryer and #RITZcontest in the caption. There is reportedly a mail-in option as well, that’s going to be spelled out on this website. The contest runs until May 20.
Participants must be U.S. residents and 18-plus.
