While her estranged husband Kroy Bierman had alleged a gambling addiction was to blame for their family’s precarious situation, he recently opened up about her alleged shopping addiction, new court documents reveal.
In a recent filing, Biermann claimed that Zolciak spent over $600,000 on luxury designer clothing over a span of seven years. Kim’s clothing expenses amounted to approximately $662,197 from 2016 to 2023.

Kroy says Kim, 45, indulged in extravagant shopping sprees over the year, depleting their family’s finances. During the time frame indicated in the filing, Kroy says his estranged wife spent approximately $269,000 at Neiman Marcus, nearly $306,000 at Saks Fifth Avenue, $64,000 at Agent Provocateur, $13,000 at Chanel, and around $10,000 at Versace.
Additionally, the former NFL star claims that Zolciak put down an additional $228,000 on lottery tickets and Bitcoin between 2021 and 2022, totalling her alleged expenditures on clothing, lottery tickets, and cryptocurrency to approximately $1 million during their marriage, fueling his previous claims that she has a gambling problem.

Not only are Kroy and Kim navigating their ongoing divorce, which has included a battle over their Georgia mansion (he wanted to sell to avoid foreclosure while claiming Kim was hesitant), but they’re allegedly facing over $1 million in IRS debt. Moreover, Kim and her daughter Brielle have been hit with multiple lawsuits over an unpaid Range Rover as well as staggering credit card debt.
“The financial burdens have been a strain on their relationship,” a source told Us Weekly, referring to Kim and Kroy’s separation. “Between the tax debt and other financial stresses, it’s been difficult. The tax debt was the straw that broke the camel’s back in their marriage.”
