Breathing new and stunning life into his 100-meter concept from 2018, New Zealand designer Isaac Burrough presents the revamped, mean-looking Revival superyacht. While the original exterior, the multi-level glass atrium, and space for numerous guests remain unchanged, the 438-footer is a longer, bolder version of its predecessor, which was shelved before it could come to fruition. Revival is breathtaking, with ample space, amenities, and the capacity for 17 guest suites, each measuring between 42 and 63 square meters. Unlike most ships that reserve the best vantage points for the owners, Revival’s cabins feature floor-to-ceiling windows or seven-foot openings for ocean views and naturally-lit interiors.
Designed with daily activities in mind, the yacht features a single-tier engine room, hybrid propulsion systems, and can run in electric mode in sensitive areas. The day starts on the lower deck, where action-packed mornings begin at the beach club or sports lounge. This floor also includes a spa and yoga rooms. All the activity is followed by meals and meaningful conversations on the Main deck, which houses a huge glass-bottom pool, a pool lounge, a dining room, a wine and cocktail bar, and a 15-person cinema.
The upper decks look resplendent at sunset and come with their own entertainment area featuring a piano lounge and a 180-square-meter nightclub. For privacy and solace, the Owner deck includes a spacious outdoor dining area, a large lounge, and a luxurious suite. The owner also enjoys a private gym, sauna, lounge, and office. Revival’s most outstanding spot is undoubtedly the bridge deck, with a cozy seating area and fire pits, perfect for enjoying drinks or post-dinner entertainment. Early birds can catch the sunrise from the sun deck while dipping in a Jacuzzi or lounging on sun pads.
The luxury vessel, equipped with a helipad and hangar, can accommodate an HC145 helicopter and a plethora of water toys, including a three-person submarine and a 12-meter limo tender. This mammoth ship sleeps 36 guests and is served by 56 crew members.”Revisiting an existing concept was a gratifying exploration into maintaining the original character of the yacht while also finding opportunities to refresh the design,” said Burrough. “Although Revival did not proceed to build, I’m really proud of how this project evolved and wanted to ensure the design and stunning visuals were shared with the world.”
