AirBaltic, Latvia’s national airline, is organizing an exclusive event for holders of their NFT collection Planies NFTs, titled the “airBaltic Backstage Experience”, as part of airBaltic’s Club loyalty program.
The event aims to provide unique insights into the airline’s operations, and will be held at airBaltic’s headquarters in Riga, Latvia on May 17, from 10:30am to 4:00pm.
A select group of 25 Planies holders will be granted exclusive access to areas of the airline’s headquarters typically restricted to the public.

Planies is the first NFT-based airline loyalty program powered by airBaltic, offering digital collectibles featuring unique cartoon artwork of their aircraft.
Each NFT provide holders with distinct travel benefits, such as free business class travel, exclusive entry to special events, travel rewards and more.
The program has almost 2,000 users and has already distributed millions of air miles, benefiting airBaltic Club members.
What awaits Planies NFT Holders?
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet Martin Gauss, President and CEO of airBaltic, and explore the airline’s technical maintenance hangar, witnessing maintenance operations firsthand.
The event will also include a visit to the airBaltic Training Centre, offering insights into pilot and crew training programs, along with an opportunities to try out their flight simulators.
Interested participants are required to complete an online registration form by March 28. Selected participants will be notified by email with further details.
