«Owl» (@oldwatchlady) – a vintage watch lover
What’s to love? This is the first time that “Owl” has agreed to talk to the media about her incredible collection of 99% vintage timepieces. Her first watch, a Bueche Girod with an onyx dial, which parked her passion for vintage pieces with character, was a gift from her mother. The very rare Rolex model with a fossil dial is one of her top three!
Why follow? Few women collectors share their passion on social media. Owl’s account with its 41,000 followers is a point of reference and one of the most followed. Her tastes have evolved over the years, transitioning from 38 or 40mm watches to smaller, more feminine designs, which sometimes enable her to wear two or three watches on her wrist, like the Cartier Baignoire and the Rolex Midas (pictured).
