The Brabus Rocket 1000 truly lives up to its name.
Brabus, the high-end car customizer best known for transforming already exotic vehicles into insanely powerful road warriors, recently unveiled the truly bonkers Brabus Rocket 1,000.
Boasting 1,820 torque and 1,000 horsepower, the four-door beast represents what Brabus does best, the company said, featuring a “unique yet typically BRABUS signature design in the most powerful BRABUS Rocket of all time.”
Already a fixture in the Brabus line, the Brabus Rocket is also a fine example of what the automaker has done in terms of pushing boundaries on the road (record-breaking speed boundaries, at that).
The customizer called the latest Brabus Rocket a “masterpiece and a quintessential supercar capable of exploring the absolute maximum of what can be achieved through modern performance engineering.”
The most powerful vehicle in the tuning shop’s 47-year history is reportedly able to hit 60 mph, 125 mph, and 186 mph in just 2.6 seconds, 9.7 seconds, and 23.9 seconds respectively — before reaching its scorching top speed of 196 mph.
The Brabus 1000 is based on a Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E Performance super sedan, and only 25 editions of this are currently on the market, with pricing for the black and gray models clocking in at $580,000 and $610,000, respectively.
Featuring all-wheel drive, the head-turning car uses an electric drive system alongside a 4.5-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine.
Brabus left no stone unturned in terms of design, outfitting the interior with custom bespoke detailing in handsome, bold black accents.
At every step of the way, the company noted the new Rocket 1,000 is a “milestone supercar” that’s nothing short of “a visual space odyssey in every detail,” which include carbon fiber front aprons and wide carbon fenders.
The latest Brabus tuned-up supercar is not only the brand’s most powerful yet, it’s also about as head-turning as it gets.
