Tesla showroom staff said the car arrived in Australia in the last week of April and will be displayed in Sydney showrooms before heading to other states.
The Cybertruck has not been approved by regulators for sale in Australia and there was no time frame or confirmation if it ever would be.
Deliveries began in December in the USA after years of delays. In 2019, Mr Musk said the truck had 146,000 orders in less than 48 hours of its unveiling.
At the December launch event in Austin, Texas Mr Musk said, “finally, the future will look like the future.”
The truck’s price in December was $US61,000 ($92,000) to $US100,000 ($151,000), depending on the model.
Tesla shares rallied this week despite a fall in revenue after Mr Musk said the company would accelerate the rollout of its lower-end cars.
