Sky Mavis, the creator of Axie Infinity, one of the most popular play-to-earn NFT games in the industry, has announced an exciting new collaboration with Japan-based GMonsters and mobile game publisher MIXI. This partnership will see titles from MIXI’s Fight League franchise being brought to the Ronin blockchain, further expanding the network’s reach and potential.

The Ronin blockchain is an Ethereum scaling network designed specifically for games. It was originally launched for Axie Infinity but has since attracted a growing list of third-party games. These include the recently popular Pixels, The Machines Arena, and Zoids Wild Arena.

GMonsters, a team of experienced game developers, has revealed plans to launch three different Fight League games on the Ronin blockchain. The first game, Fight League Survivor, will feature an arcade-style gameplay and is set to enter a closed beta testing phase this quarter. The other two upcoming games are card battler Fight League Medallion and role-playing game Fight League Missions.

MIXI, the publisher of the highly successful mobile game Monster Strike which has grossed over $10 billion, owns the intellectual property for Fight League. As part of this collaboration, MIXI will provide comprehensive support to GMonsters in terms of planning, production, and supervision throughout the game development process.

This collaboration between Sky Mavis, GMonsters, and MIXI brings several benefits for all parties involved. For Sky Mavis, it allows them to expand their already successful Ronin network with more highly anticipated games. This will attract more users to the network and further solidify its position as a leading blockchain platform for gaming.

For GMonsters, the collaboration provides Fight League with increased exposure and access to a wider audience through the Ronin network. They will also benefit from MIXI’s expertise in game development and promotion, which could lead to more successful titles on the market.

MIXI, on the other hand, gets to tap into the growing trend of blockchain gaming and expand their brand beyond traditional mobile games. The Ronin network’s capabilities, such as low fees and fast transactions, make it an ideal platform for MIXI to enter the world of NFTs and blockchain gaming.

The collaboration between Sky Mavis, GMonsters, and MIXI marks another significant milestone in the world of blockchain gaming. It showcases the potential of blockchain technology in transforming the gaming industry and attracting traditional game developers to explore this new frontier. With the Ronin network expanding its reach and capabilities, we can expect even more exciting collaborations and developments in the future. As for gamers, they can look forward to playing popular titles like Fight League on a secure, transparent, and decentralized platform like Ronin.
