A Gold Coast homeowner is “struggling” as a major construction site next door allegedly makes his house “uninhabitable” with wet concrete twice seeping onto his property among his grievances.

A river of the caustic substance spilled onto the man’s yard at his Palm Beach home last month as workers poured the foundations for the unit complex.

The mess was removed, but the same thing happened last week, only in a smaller quantity.

It has added to what has already been a difficult time for the man, who has moved out of the house due to what he describes as a “complete loss of the peace, use and enjoyment of my home”.

“He’s struggling,” community advocate Karen Rowles told 7NEWS.com.au on behalf of the man, who did not want to be identified.

“I’m very worried about him. He can’t believe it’s happening to anyone, and it’s happening to him.”

The man claims the construction project had caused damage to his home such as cracked concrete and walls, encroached the development’s boundaries onto his land and created “excessive noise pollution”, all while the construction company 5Point Projects allegedly ignores his contact attempts.

“5Point Projects has made my home uninhabitable,” the man told 7NEWS.com.au in a statement.

Rowles said the house near the beach is the man’s “dream home”.

She laments it could be just the start of his ordeal, with the construction just beginning and expected to last for 18 months or more.

“It’s going to be hell for the poor man. This is just the start,” Rowles said.

5Point has been contacted for comment by 7NEWS.com.au.

It told 7NEWS last month that a subcontractor had “inadvertently spilt a small amount of concrete which flowed over the boundary into a neighbouring property”.

Workers waited until the concrete dried before they could break it up and remove it in pieces.

The homeowner said the ordeal has caused him “unbearable stress and anxiety”.

He has called on the developer to stop ignoring his communication and provide compensation for the alleged damage to this home.
