Saigon Jewelry Company gold bar price fell slightly by 0.13% to VND76.65 million ($3,115.22) per tael Saturday morning.
Gold ring price was stable at VND63.95 million per tael. A tael equals 37.5 grams or 1.2 ounces.
Globally gold prices held steady on Friday as investors’ attention shifted to the U.S. Federal Reserve’s policy meeting due next week for more insights into the interest rate outlook.
Spot gold was little changed at $2,016.95 per ounce, down 0.6% so far this week.
U.S. gold futures settled mostly flat at $2,017.3.
