Legend’s design emphasizes large, light-filled spaces with broad terraces that offer constant visual contact with the sea. The yacht’s all-composite construction was overseen by Francesco Struglia and Lazzarini Pickering Architects, who aimed to create a fluid transition between interior and exterior spaces.
Main saloon
The yacht includes personalized elements such as Antartide pink marble and embossed leather, requested by the owner. Legend is equipped with a Selective Catalyst Reduction (SCR) system to meet IMO Tier III emissions standards, a double-capacity desalination plant, a fuel purification system, and a Starlink internet system. It also features upgraded Miele professional appliances and complies with the REG Yacht Code for charter operations.
Main saloon
The interiors, designed by Claudio Lazzarini and Carl Pickering, offer a contemporary interpretation of classic motoryacht elegance. The main deck saloon, with sliding glass panels, blends seamlessly with the generous beach platform. Reflective surfaces around the windows enhance natural light and expand the interior spaces. The Main Deck’s structure, inspired by the skeleton of a whale, features extensive lateral glazing and minimal furnishings to create an open ambiance.
Main deck
Interior materials include Alpi teak, Calacatta marble, and Antartide pink marble. The owner’s suite on the main deck and four guest suites on the lower deck offer luxurious accommodations, with a spiral staircase connecting to the skylounge on the upper deck. Loro Piana Interiors provided classic summer fabrics in shades of white, blue, and malachite.
Master suite
Francesco Struglia’s exterior design unifies the hull and superstructure with sharp lines and elongated forms. The superstructure’s bronze-colored paint adds a touch of modern elegance. The sun deck features a custom “grand piano” sun-pad, and the Lower Deck includes a spacious beach platform with a pull-out bar.
Upper deck
Powered by two V12 MAN engines, M/Y Legend achieves a top speed of 17 knots. The efficient hull, designed by Pierluigi Ausonio Naval Architecture in collaboration with Azimut|Benetti Group R&D, ensures excellent seakeeping and optimized fuel consumption, providing an impressive range.
