The ‘Rainbow Sheikh’, a well known collector and billionaire, has an incredibly unique collection of vehicles.
Most car collectors fill their garages with high-performance supercars.
But he’s gone a different route.

When it comes to adding to his fleet, his motto is the weirder, the better.
He has a fleet of S-Classes in every color of the rainbow (hence why they call it the ‘Rainbow Sheikh’) as well as the world’s biggest Jeep.
He even has the world’s largest car, and Supercar Blondie’s Sergi Galiano had the chance to see it in the metal.

And those are just a few of the hundreds of one-of-a-kind vehicles he owns.
Sheikh Hamad, also known as the Rainbow Sheikh, is an Emirati royal.
His family controls over 95% of the UAE’s oil deposits, so naturally they have a bit of cash to spare.
The billionaire likes to spend his money in a particularly flashy way.
His personal car collection is so big that it’s split into four museums, including one in Morocco.
He first started earning a reputation for himself in the automotive world back in 1990 when he placed an unusual order with Mercedes.
The royal requested a fleet of S-Classes, each in a different color of the rainbow, hence the nickname ‘Rainbow Sheikh’.
Since then he has prided himself on adding some of the most eccentric cars in the world to his collection.
He has a soft spot for Mercedes, which accounts for a third of his vehicles.
Surprisingly he owns no Audis, BMWs or supercars.
One of his favorite items to collect is supersize versions of famous cars.
His Jeep is classified as the world’s largest motorized car, at just over 21 feet tall.
The Hummer H1 is already a massive car, but the Rainbow Sheikh decided it could use improving.
His version of the H1 is three times the size of the original at 46 feet long and 21 feet tall.
He also owns the world’s biggest SUV, which is 35 feet long and has ten wheels.
Another record holder in the Sheikh’s garage is a 1950s Dodge Power Wagon.
Except this version is 64 times the size of the original model, making it the world’s biggest pickup truck.
On the other end of the spectrum is his Erad Junior.
While it looks like it was designed for a child, this miniature car is fully functional and one of the last remaining models in existence.
Then there’s his Daihatsu Midget II, which is one of the smallest pickups in the world.
This three-wheeled Japanese car is an iconic collector’s item and was featured in Gran Turismo 2.
With so many cars that they need multiple museums to fit in and most of them modded beyond recognition, it’s nearly impossible to know how much the Sheikh’s collection is worth.
But with a net worth of $20 billion, it’s hardly relevant to him.
