You could live a life of luxury on the water without having to pay a seven-figure sum.
Villa Vie Residences are selling cabins on their world cruise which will take to the seas in May next year, and prices start from $US99,999 ($158,176).
The “continuous cruise”, as the website calls it, circumnavigates the globe every three-and-a-half years and cabin buyers can elect when to climb aboard.
Aussies can choose from three types of villas, ranging in price, but one thing is for sure…all come with “an everchanging backyard”.
The Inside Villa is the cheapest at $158,000 and has a floorplan of 14 to 16 square metres.

The interior aesthetic is modern and there is a “virtual window” to change the scenery to your wishes.
Also on offer is the Oceanview Villa at $US149,999 ($237,265). Although the floorplan is the same, you are guaranteed ocean vistas.
The most grand of cabins is the Balcony Villa at $US249,999 ($395,442). The floorplan is slightly larger at about 18 square metres and the balcony offers the resident their own “personal paradise”.
There is a monthly maintenance fee for all cabins, starting at $US1,749 per person ($2,766). Should the owner wish to invite a guest, there is a visitor fee of $US33 per day ($52).

The buyer is entitled to 24-hour cabin service and medical support, housekeeping, private storage, laundry and dry cleaning facilities.
Each cabin comes with a mini fridge and an en suite bathroom.
A cruise can be booked in segments of 35 to 120 days, covering locations including the Caribbean, Northern Europe, South America, North America, Japan and North Asia.
While on board, residents have unlimited access to the gym, spa and yoga classes. They can dine at any of the world-class restaurants and can enjoy shows free of charge.
