The tycoon in question is American sports billionaire Terry Pegula, worth $10.8 billion, who owns the Buffalo Sabres of the National Hockey League.
He upgraded from a small boat, a 48-meter Christensen named Liquidity, to a 200-footer boasting an incredible volume of 1,300 GT. It was a large boat for his large family. The exterior design is by Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design, and Paul Costerus, senior yacht designer and project manager for Sinot, shared, “The focus for the owners was on the interior and on the usability of the boat. The most important thing was how many people you can sit on each deck. It’s a very big boat for its length, but I think we found a good balance between elegance and usability.”
