Ocean Independence has added the 34-meter yacht Bluephire, designed by Christian Leyk and built by Tureddi, to its sales portfolio. This yacht exemplifies the Mediterranean lifestyle, merging advanced technology with artisanal craftsmanship.
Tureddi, a shipyard founded by a family with a passion for yachting, has decided to branch out after 45 years of contract work with renowned Italian brands like Sanlorenzo, Codecasa, and Benetti. Having built 60 yachts, they now plan to construct a fleet of 30-60 meter semi-custom yachts under their own name.
Bluephire, a 34m new-build project, is a true reflection of Tureddi’s values. It features a glass salon that opens completely on both ends, enhancing indoor/outdoor living. The yacht measures 34 meters in length, with a waterline length of 27 meters, a beam of 6.9 meters, and a draft of 1.3 meters, and has a gross tonnage of 230GT.
Powered by two MAN V8 1000HP engines, Bluephire offers a cruising speed of 14 knots and a maximum speed of 16 knots, with a range of 450 nautical miles. An alternative engine arrangement featuring two MTU 16V 2000 M96L engines can increase the cruising speed to 25 knots and the maximum speed to 35 knots, with a range of 370 nautical miles.
Bluephire emphasizes outdoor living and water activities, featuring sun beds, easy water access, space for water toys, a bar, and a well-designed living area. Natural illumination and innovative lighting systems, along with new materials and natural air circulation, enhance the main living area, which includes a lounge, dining area, and bar. The open pilot house and foredeck with sun beds and seating extend the living space.
The lower saloon provides a cozy retreat, while the yacht ensures well-equipped crew spaces. Bluephire can be customized to the owner’s preferences, including color schemes and details, offering a refined yachting experience.
Tureddi’s potential for producing fully custom new builds sets them apart in the luxury yacht market, leveraging their expertise and world-class facilities to offer a seamless and efficient building experience.
