Art-focused web3 group the Palm Foundation have issued a call for artists to exhibit at ZsONAMACO, Latin America’s biggest annual art fair.
Selected artists will have the opportunity to present their work to a new audience of prospective art collectors, with each artist receiving a $500 USD grant.
The artist that receives the most votes from the Palm Collective will also receive a $1,500 USD grant.
What is ZsONAMACO?
ZsONAMACO is Latin America’s biggest annual art fair, attracting over 70,000 art collectors and appreciators from around the world.
The 2024 edition marks the event’s 20th anniversary, and is set to take place in Mexico City from February 7-11.
To celebrate this milestone, the organisers have collaborated with the Palm Foundation to issue a call for artists around the world to be curated by a committee formed by art historian Direlia Lazo, independant artist Glam Beckett, and web3’s own Superchief Gallery.
The aim is to support and help showcase leading talent in the digital art space to a traditional art audience, helping these artists to reach new collectors.
How do I enter?
Submissions open on January 17, closing on January 28.
Participating artists are required to mint one selected piece of their art on the Palm Network, following guides from NFTrade or Artists Valley, before submitting their piece to the Palm Collective.
All submissions will be reviewed by the curatorial committee. Three to five pieces will be chosen for exhibition within the Palm Collective booth at ZsONAMACO 2024, with each artist receiving a $500 USD grant.
From February 7-9, all submissions will be subject to a vote by the Palm Collective. The artist that receives the highest number of votes will win a $1,500 USD grant.
Each participating artist will retain all intellectual and commercial rights to their work, with a choice of commercial platforms available should they desire to sell their NFTs.
