Punta Gorda-based Pier One Yacht Sales plans to ‘make waves’ with its display at the 51st Annual Fort Myers Boat Show in Fort Myers’ historic downtown riverfront district from Nov. 9-12. Show hours are Nov. 9-11 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Nov. 12 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Attendees must park in designated areas and enter the show on foot at the intersection of Bay and Heitman Streets. Admission is $20 per person; children 15 and younger are free with one paid adult admission.
Under new ownership and management, Pier One Yacht Sales will feature four luxury models from Skamander Yachts by Hussar, including a 34-foot “100 Sorrento,” a 32-foot “920 EXPLORER MAX,” a 29-foot “850 Voyager,” and a 26-foot “790 Explorer.”
Hussar is a Poland-based yacht manufacturer named after Polish warriors. According to the Hussar Yachts website, “Hussars were bold and unflinching in their pursuit to challenge their own limits. Today, we honor the Hussar name as we proudly carry on the tradition of fierce innovation and commitment to excellence in every design.” Poland is second to the United States in the production of small, motorized yachts up to 30 feet in length and one of the largest producers of boats in the 20-35 foot category.
Hussar introduced the Skamander line of mid to large-size luxury vessels with the messaging that their yachts are “perfect for taking friends and family on weekend trips while hosting them in comfort.” The manufacturer further states that their new hull designs “are centered around efficiency, adding much more interior room and dramatically decreasing fuel burn and maintenance costs, making luxury yachting more affordable than ever!”

At its center, the yacht brokerage firm’s boat show display will highlight the racy lines of a “Watersports Car” personal watercraft model.
Based in Miami, Watersports Car is the only U.S. manufacturer of U.S.C.G.-certified luxury recreational watercraft that, according to the manufacturer, “looks, feels, and drives like a sports car.” Watersports Cars are available in two-seat or four-seat models and powered by high-performance or supercharged engines.
