Purpose Investment Inc., a Toronto-based investment management company that introduced the world to Bitcoin and Ether ETFs, has filed a preliminary prospectus for a Ripple (XRP) ETF with Canadian securities regulators. This move comes on the heels of Grayscale’s filing for a similar XRP ETF in the United States.
The proposed Purpose Ripple ETF aims to provide investors with a regulated and familiar way to gain exposure to XRP, the native cryptocurrency of the Ripple network.

A prospectus is a formal document that companies must file with regulatory authorities when offering securities to the public. It provides detailed information about the investment, which also includes its objectives, strategies, risks, and financial statements. This helps investors make wise decisions while investing.

Som Seif, founder and CEO of Purpose Investments, pointed out the company’s dedication to innovation and bridging traditional and decentralized finance. He stated, “As XRP sees increasing adoption and institutional interest, we believe an ETF can offer investors a transparent and familiar way to access it within a regulated framework.”
