Gold prices remained steady in the local market on Sunday, as reported by the General Syndicate of Owners of Trade and Jewelry Shops.
The selling price per gram of 21-carat gold in jewelry shops stood at JD48,500, while the buying price was set at JD46,600.
Similarly, for the higher purity 24-carat gold, the selling price reached up to JD56,000 per gram, with a corresponding buying price of JD53,600.
For those interested in 18-carat gold, the selling price per gram was observed at JD43,600, while the buying price was slightly lower at JD40,100.
