Yachting in the Red Sea is undergoing transformative changes with new regulations, the creation of a seamless platform for crews called ‘Ebhar,’ and the opening of new destinations within the Red Sea. What is the Sindalah luxury island?
Gearing to become the Red Sea’s leading superyacht destination, Sindalah will be the first leg of Saudi Arabia’s national tourism strategy. The smart city, a haven for anyone with a superyacht, offers a world-class yachting ecosystem. The 840,000-square-meter island with a budget of $24 billion, features a yacht club, 5,000 berths, three luxury resorts, a spa, 51 luxury shops, 86 piers, 38 restaurants, and a beach club. Neom’s Sindalah Island will also include a 5,920-meter par 70 golf course and a driving range. The project will create 3,500 jobs for tourism, hospitality, and leisure services and is set to open in 2024.
