SYKY, a luxury fashion platform, will turn into a reality a new vision in visual fashion by launching on Apple Vision Pro. Now live and debuting with an avant-garde Japanese label, Anrealage, the app offers consumers a new way to navigate legendary designers and fashion houses.

Blending digital and physical worlds, the SYKY app creates an immersive spatial environment where one can feel first-hand, and in a most inspirational way, the art of luxury crafting and design.

Anrealage’s Innovative Showcase

Within the SYKY universe, glowing archways act as portals into custom-built designer spaces. The debut showcase features Anrealage and its founder, Kunihiko Morinaga, who presents an exclusive centrepiece: The Pyramid Dress. This structural, colour-changing piece was inspired by a bespoke Anrealage gown worn by Beyoncé on her Renaissance tour and designs from the label’s HOME collection.

Making the dress for SYKY Pyramid was an entirely new process for Morinaga, where he usually designs in 3D and later manipulates his work into a physical item.

Free from the real-world limitations within the process, he could fluidly play with different textures, fabrics, and forms while working on bringing The Pyramid Dress to life. In other words, this piece explores his concept of the garments as a concept for inhabitant spaces or billowing structures to be inhabited.

Commenting on the experience, Moringa said, “Fashion shows, which once required extensive travel and the experience of purchasing clothes from stores, can now be accessed simply by putting on a device in your own room. All the constraints of reality are removed allowing one to freely experience the extraordinariness of fashion from their own room or daily life.”

The Future of Fashion: A Blend of Digital and Physical

The app hopes to empower discovery through the powerful hand-and-eye-tracking capabilities of Apple Vision Pro, unveiling storytelling moments at every touchpoint.

Visitors can closely examine The Pyramid Dress, move around it, and interact with various points to learn more about the design, fabrics, and creative processes involved. Additionally, they can go behind the scenes with Morinaga to hear about his craft, the collaboration, and his vision for the future of fashion.

SYKY for Apple Vision Pro debuts showcase with iconic Japanese label Anrealage

Alice Delahunt, CEO and Founder of SYKY expressed excitement about the potential of this new platform. “We believe that the fashion industry is entering a period of remarkable change as realities merge and digital fashion experiences blend with the physical world,” she said.

For the first time, SYKY is diving into spatial computing in collaboration with Apple Vision Pro. From there, this very first curated showcase serves as the stepping stone to produce more curated works in collaboration with the world’s largest fashion houses. Here, visitors step inside a virtual reality atelier, design space, or new retail environment where they can explore custom-designed garments.

In summary, the launch of SYKY on Apple Vision Pro sets the scene and drives in the new fashion era: at one point in the experience, digital and physical worlds unite to define how consumers interact with high fashion.
