As the six Super Bowl flags fluttered in the windy New England weather, he announced himself as a “Patriot fan for life.” Despite a stop in Tampa to win his seventh ring, the 46-year-old will always be remembered as the quarterback who dominated the NFL wearing the blue and silver jersey.
The day kicked off with Brady ringing the bell atop the new lighthouse next to the stadium. He waved to the audience from its balcony, and the game between the Patriots and the Philadelphia Eagles commenced. Even though the day was not in favor of the home side, their former great’s presence made it special.
However, Kraft’s announcement of Brady’s induction into the Patriots Hall of Fame next year made it even more memorable. During the speech, the paparazzi noticed a gold watch on the retired football player’s left hand. It was not just any watch, but a vintage Rolex Daytona.
