A UPS employee allegedly stole a Rolex watch from a customer who believed the item had been shipped from the Brooklyn Heights UPS store, according to police.

The 40-year-old victim reported that he recently sold his Rolex Submariner watch worth $9,500 on eBay, and went to the UPS facility at 137 Montague St. on Dec. 22 to ship the item to an eBay authentication center in Ohio.

According to cops, the man left the facility with a tracking number that afternoon, but became concerned when he was unable to trace the item online the following week.

After contacting UPS, the man said he was told that his package had been stolen by the staff member who had given him the tracking number.

The victim then reported the incident to the 84th Precinct, who confirmed with the manager of the UPS facility that the staff member was captured by a security camera leaving the store with the parcel containing the watch.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing, according to cops.

In response to a query from Brooklyn Paper, a UPS spokesperson said that its customer relations team is currently working with the owner of the Brooklyn Heights store to “take care” of the impacted customer.
