What’s New For 2025?
The price increase comes with several upgrades following the subtle updates for 2024, including new standard features. A new Copper Crest option is added to the list of exterior color choices, while Macadamia is added as an option for Luxury trim. Features such as rain-sensing wipers, a power liftgate, and intuitive parking assist with automatic braking are now all standard for the entire lineup. Completing the updates are two front center console USB Type-C ports, with wireless smartphone charging now accessible across all trims.
Unfortunately, Lexus has yet to provide updated images of the 2025 NX. More importantly, the chassis updates and new Overtrail trim, introduced in Japan earlier this month, will not be available in the US for the 2025 model year.

Four Powertrain Options
The 2025 Lexus NX will continue to have four powertrain options. The base 250 models have a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine producing 203 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque. Meanwhile, the 350 trims get a turbocharged 2.4-liter engine generating 275 hp and 317 lb-ft of pulling power.
Those looking for electrified versions can choose the 350h, powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine combined with a twin-motor hybrid system and a rear-mounted electric motor, for a total output of 240 hp. The 450h+ is the plug-in hybrid EV (PHEV) version, which has a larger lithium-ion battery and an upgraded powertrain than the 350h, yielding 304 hp and an EV range of 37 miles.
Lexus has yet to disclose the availability of the 2025 NX, which we expect to happen by the end of the year. Meanwhile, those looking to avoid the price hike could still build and order their 2024 models via the Lexus website.
