American Dream is adding even more high-end retailers to its mix of tenants.
Canada Goose
Lifestyle brand Canada Goose officially opened Nov. 10 in the Meadowlands megamall’s luxury wing, making it the company’s sixth permanent storefront on the East Coast. It’s also Canada Goose’s second shop in New Jersey, following The Mall at Short Hills.
The 4,200-square-foot store on Level 2 of the Avenue offers a range of the Canadian retailer’s performance apparel, from parks and rainwear to clothing and accessories. The new location also features of a collection of Inuit artwork from artists Kyle Scheurmann, Patrick Thompson, Ooloosie Saila and Nicotye Samayualie.
Known for high-quality outerwear, the 66-year-old Toronto-based company announced plans earlier this year to more than double its retail footprint to 100 stores by the 2028, as well as continue to grow its digital presence. Canada Goose also aims to diversify its product mix to include categories beyond heavyweight and lightweight jackets, such as rainwear, apparel, footwear, eyewear and luggage.
Canada Goose at American Dream will be open 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday to Friday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and closed on Sunday.
Zadig & Voltaire
Another new addition at American Dream is Parisian ready-to-wear fashion house Zadig & Voltaire.
Located on Level 1 of the luxury wing, the almost 3,000-square-foot boutique – the brand’s first New Jersey storefront – sells menswear, womenswear and accessories.
Founded in 1997, Zadig & Voltaire gained recognition for its fashion-forward, rocker-chic-inspired collections and now has nearly 400 retail stores in 30 countries around the world.
In commenting on the store’s Nov. 8 grand opening, American Dream Senior Vice President and General Manager Bryan Gaus said, “We are beyond excited to add another global luxury brand like Zadig & Voltaire to The Avenue. Their unique craftsmanship and design will be a great addition to our property as we continue to provide our guests with the very best in luxury retail.”
Zadig & Voltaire will be open Monday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and closed Sundays.
