SUNDAY’S MUNSTER CROSS-COUNTRY
On Sunday next the Munster (B) juvenile u9,11,13,15,17 and Intermediate Cross Country Championships originally fixed for a Waterford venue and with Tramore Racecourse available unfortunately had to be turned down due insufficient help and support locally to have it in the county. The course in Tramore chosen was not the one for the recent County fixture as for the Munster fixture the entire inside of the course-not the race track – was to be used with provision for officials, club mentors and spectators also. Be that as it may, it now goes ahead in Riverstick in County Cork halfway between Cork City and Kinsale. with an 11.30 am start.
