The Little Play Cafe, Rutherford
WHAT YOU’LL FIND: Montessori-inspired play space for ages 0 to 6 years old, with a full service cafe including lattes, espressos and avocados on toast. Parents and caregivers can relax with a drink in hand while their children play within eyesight. Play area is carefully curated with open-ended and imaginative play items. Two hour sessions can be booked online.

Dave’s Hot Chicken, Kearny
WHAT YOU’LL FIND: Hot chicken sliders and tenders, along with house-made kale slaw, creamy mac and cheese and crispy, seasoned French fries. Food comes in seven spice levels ranging from No Spice to Reaper, which requires a signed waiver for those who dare.

Just Salads, Paramus
WHAT YOU’LL FIND: A fast-casual restaurant chain where guests can choose from over 15 plant-centric chef-designed salads, wraps, warm bowls, avocado toast, soups and smoothies.

WHEN: The store officially opened on Augl. 17. Open Monday through Friday, 10 a.m.-8 p.m., Saturday 10:30 a.m.-8 p.m. and Sunday 10:30 a.m.-7 p.m.
Givenchy, The Mall at Short Hills, Short Hills
WHAT YOU’LL FIND: A French luxury fashion brand selling men’s and women’s clothing, bags, shoes, accessories and fragrances.
