Launched in 2016, Aquijo stands as a testament to the collaborative prowess of Oceanco and Vitters. Her exterior, a creation of Tripp Design Naval Architects, harmonizes with the interiors envisioned by Dölker + Voges Design.
Conceived as the world’s largest ketch, Aquijo proudly unfurls twin 90-meter masts, each carrying identical 1,192-square-meter mainsails, contributing to a staggering total sail area of 5,051 square meters.
Crafted to fulfill the owner’s vision of a comfortable, high-performance cruising yacht with global capabilities, Aquijo prioritizes safety, comfort, and performance. Accommodating up to 12 guests in seven lavish staterooms, including a master suite on the bridge deck, two VIPs, a double, a twin, and two convertible staterooms on the lower deck.
Aquijo’s allure extends to her capacious beach club, featuring a steam room, sauna, lounge, and ocean-view hot tub – a rarity in sailing yachts. Complemented by three outdoor bars, including a main deck 12-seater bar with a retractable television, multi-colored lighting, and beer on tap, she redefines luxury on the water.
Equipped with twin Caterpillar engines, Aquijo achieves a top speed of 17 knots.
