Sanlorenzo introduces the 44X-Space, a groundbreaking superyacht range that seamlessly blends the legacy of the Explorer line with the elegance of the Steel line. The inaugural two units, including the La La Land delivered in July 2023, showcase a fusion of distinctive design philosophies, resulting in a vessel of exceptional proportions and transformative spatial versatility.
The 44X-Space redefines perceptions of space through a bespoke approach, emphasizing onboard livability with innovative solutions both externally and internally. Crafted in collaboration with Studio Zuccon International Project and Piero Lissoni, La La Land epitomizes ambition and customization within this novel range, boasting a substantive yet light design where transparency blurs the boundaries between indoor and outdoor spaces.
Designed by Piero Lissoni, the interior reflects an almost entirely glass boat, with large windows and glass walls in some cabins, creating an innovative and elastic connection between interior and exterior spaces.
The unconventional six-deck layout of La La Land, with a voluminous 499 GT, embodies unprecedented character and features, striking a balance between innovative choices and classic lines.
La La Land’s main deck offers a sea-facing swimming pool, an open-air lounge, and a unique outdoor cockpit for added privacy. The helicoidal staircase, a masterpiece by Piero Lissoni, connects the four decks into a single central body, emphasizing the vessel’s elegance. The bow space offers a multifunctional area configurable as a cinema or dining area for up to 12 guests, showcasing the customization possibilities of the 44X-Space.
The upper deck is exclusively dedicated to the owner, emphasizing privacy with outdoor areas and a master cabin that reflects the majesty of the entire design. An innovative aspect of the 44X-Space is the relocation of the wheelhouse and captain’s private spaces to the bridge deck, maximizing livability for guests. The sun deck functions as a luxurious terrace with a 360° panorama, while the lower deck accommodates guest cabins and crew spaces.
The beach area houses the gym & spa area and offers direct access to the sea, showcasing select materials in natural, neutral tones. The avant-garde perspective of the 44X-Space series, combining innovation with meticulous attention to detail and Sanlorenzo’s design heritage, is evident in La La Land’s exquisite execution.
