The Baltic 80 Custom Yacht is striking in its pink hue and packed with performance features. Capable of fast offshore cruising and delivering stellar performance on the race course, this 80-foot custom yacht is set to launch in the summer of 2024. Its owner can expect a versatile schooner equipped with a self-tacking jib set on a wide track and in-boom furling, making the boat easy to sail. Details about the rig design have been scant. According to the shipyard, the boat was commissioned by an experienced yachtsman.
The interior, designed by Baltic Yachts, Jens Paulus, and Axel Vervoordt, includes accommodations for six guests in three double cabins, plus a cabin for two crew members. This sleek and sporty ‘new generation 80’ features twin rudders, a lifting keel, and a conventional propulsion system driving a folding propeller. The yacht also offers ample space for a large garage, accommodating a jet-driven tender at the stern.
Henry Hawkins, Executive Vice President of Baltic Yachts, commented, ‘She’s a particularly sleek and sporty looking yacht and could be regarded as a ‘new generation 80’ in a size range that has recently been attracting attention from clients. A lot of design work has gone into producing what should be a great performance cruiser-racer.’
Recently, another pink yacht from Turkey-based VisionF Yachts garnered attention due to its bright hue, a rare sight on a motoryacht. The all-pink, 82-foot catamaran, commissioned by a secretive tech entrepreneur, was valued at $6 million.
