Winch Design has lent a wow element, or many, to a 262-footer called Project Reverie. It is another gem that will glisten as part of Oceanco’s Simply Custom range that, truth be told, is churning out one stunner after another. The renowned British design studio conceptualized Reverie around “a state of being pleasantly lost in one’s thoughts or a daydream.” While dreams can be dramatic, chaotic, and cluttered, the yacht is a pleasant example with delicately sculpted hull and simple forms.
In fact, this incredible and instantly noticeable clutter-free aesthetic is what makes it easy to think, dream, and revel on Reverie. Initial renderings of the three-decker customizable superyacht unveil a “beach and wellness” experience. The lower deck of the 262-footer features a spa, gym, and waterside access connected to a shaded pool aft. The pool lounge on the main deck is where all the action takes place for large groups who can indulge in some seaside socializing.
The motoryacht is customizable, giving the owner a choice of two layouts: a forward-facing master suite complete with a forward pool terrace, or an aft master suite privately connected to an owner’s lounge and generous sun deck. Either way, Reverie is just as blissful.
Jim Dixon, of Winch Design, said: “Our duty as a designer is to bring purpose, inspiration, and innovation in our solutions to clients’ dreams. Gazing from our Thames-side studio, we see the beauty of a ‘slipper’ launch and the nature of the pebbled water’s edge, which came together as Reverie.”
The craft is essentially made more sustainable by consciously fusing together the lavish interior and exterior spaces. The large windows flood the interior with natural light, and the design ensures there is less demand on air conditioning systems.
