If you’re in Sri Petaling a lot, you’ll know that the traffic there is NO JOKE, especially on weekends when double parking is inevitable.
Malaysian YouTuber, Yuniyce recently got her Kancil blocked by a luxury car, which was initially not an issue because the driver left his phone number on the dashboard.
Yuniyce called the number that was displayed on the dashboard but no one picked up the call.
In her Instagram reel @yuniycewcy, Yuniyce also showed how hectic the double parking was in the area because she was not the only one who got blocked by double-parked cars.
“All the cars next to me also got their cars blocked,” Yuniyce said.
Attempt after attempt, the driver of the luxury car still did not pick up her call. Yuniyce had no choice but to “make some noise” by continuously honking to get the driver’s attention.
“You know what’s surprising? The parking lot is just next to me.”
When the honking did not work, Yuniyce tried calling the driver again but to no avail, which started to irritate her.
It was the longest 5 minutes of Yuniyce’s life.
After a series of failed attempts, the driver finally appeared. Despite being annoyed, Yuniyce tried to be polite and friendly.
“Is this your car? I’ve been waiting for you,” Yuniyce asked with a smile.
The driver of the luxury car, however, didn’t seem regretful or apologetic.
“Yes, it’s my car. Why? I’ve only parked for a while.”
The driver did not say sorry to Yuniyce and just drove away, which baffled Yuniyce.
“I don’t really mind if you double park. But at least pick up the phone. Listen out for the honk, and be polite,” Yuniyce said.
Even her followers were unhappy with the luxury car driver’s attitude
“Double park is not an issue. The problem is he’s rude, not smart. The classic kind of selfish.”
“He said he just parked for a while. That pisses me off so much.”
“You are so polite! You should’ve been harsher to him so he could reflect on himself.”
“He probably didn’t care because you were driving a Kancil.”
