BitMEX, a leading cryptocurrency derivatives exchange, has announced the launch of a new prediction market platform. The platform, which is called Prediction, allows traders to bet on the outcome of real-world events using bitcoin as the underlying currency. Currently, the platform offers three contracts: FTX bankruptcy debt recovery rate, Bitcoin Spot ETF approval before October 17th, and SBF going to jail. More contracts will be added in the future. The launch of Prediction is expected to provide traders with more opportunities to profit from their knowledge of real-world events while also adding liquidity to the BitMEX ecosystem.
