A popular shopping district in New Braunfels recently announced the addition of a brand new entertainment venue focused on bringing sporting fun, live music, and more to the growing community. Now there’s even more reason for a fun excursion at Solms Landing.
Come 2024 the new venue, dubbed The Court House, will offer customers an all-in-one place for activities like pickleball and padel, which is a form of tennis, in a modern setting. In order to serve it up on the court a reservation will be required. The family-friendly establishment also has plenty of activities for kids such as a splash pad and playground, according to The Court House website.

The venue comes equipped with a patio area with a game of corn hole, and a full bar serving cocktails and cold pints from around the world. The outdoor patio is outfitted with many seating options, including lounge chairs and picnic tables, that overlook a stage offering live music. The bar will also serve a variety of small plates, including its signature dish of La Mula, to accompany the bar’s selection of beverages, according to the website.
The Court House is located in the upscale, 98-acre, mixed-use community Solms Landing situated just off I-35. Solms Landing boasts several residential developments, including some under construction. There are also plans for a Merriott hotel, The Best Stop Supermarket, and Slim Chickens.

“Our goal was to create a destination that brought unique concepts to the area. The Court House is a perfect example of that goal being achieved. Pickleball is one of the fastest growing sports in the United States and padel is one of the fastest growing sports outside of the United States. However there are currently no entertainment based Pickle or Padel facilities along the IH-35 Corridor. We view The Court House as an opportunity to provide an amenity not just to Solms Landing, but also to New Braunfels as a whole as well as the greater IH-35 corridor,” a spokesperson for Solms Landing told MySA.
