Project Metamorphosis is a 236-foot superyacht with its own helipad built by Admiral Yachts in Italy.
The interior decor is exactly what you’d expect from one of the greatest Italian fashion designers of all time.
He’s known for his tailored, elegant, and sophisticated aesthetic, which is carried throughout Project Metamorphosis.
There is no stark white on this yacht, only earth tones and muted pastels.
The exterior features sleek and clean lines, with no visible steps and inconspicuous rails.
Inside, there is plenty of glass, stylish furniture, gold trim, and a layout designed for hosting and socializing.
It can sleep 14 guests and 20 crew members and also has a pool and spa onboard.
Project Metamorphosis was due to debut at the Monaco Yacht Show in September 2024.
Even before the build was complete, she had a buyer.
As is the custom in the world of yachting, the identity of the buyer is unknown.
However, in a surprising move – even though it has yet to leave the shipyard – Armani’s superyacht has just been re-sold.
This unexpected decision means its debut will be delayed as the new owner seeks to make changes to the original design.
It might seem counterproductive to redesign a yacht carefully curated by Armani himself.
But when you spend $114 million on something, you’re going to want to give it a personal touch.
