The work of yacht designers has often been likened to that of musicians. Just like composing a symphony, designing a luxury superyacht is an art, and every detail plays a crucial role in creating a balanced harmony between aesthetics and engineering.
Set to make its world premiere during the largest annual gathering of superyachts in the world, Monaco Yacht Show 2024, in September, the Eternal Spark has already been delivered and is now available for charter. It marks Bilgin Yachts’ first launch of the 2024 yachting season and showcases the company’s unwavering dedication to innovation and excellence.
Eternal Spark is designed to cater to the most demanding expectations and aims to be “the best and most exciting 499GT yacht in the world.” İsmail Şengün, CEO of Bilgin Yachts, has shared an enthusiastic comment about the launch, saying “I am proud of our team’s hard work and the exceptional results achieved. We are set on a path towards future success and innovation.”

The new vessel is part of the Bilgin 163 series and was crafted in collaboration with Emrecan Özgün of Unique Yacht Design, who signed off its exterior design and naval architecture, and Milan-based Hot Lab, which took care of the interiors. Construction of this unit spanned nearly three years, having begun in December 2019. The superyacht found an owner in 2022, being sold by SuperYachts Croatia.
Described as a design that offers a new level of luxury, Eternal Spark features a sporty yet elegant exterior with sleek lines and a raked bow and an interior that blends modern luxury with exquisite sophistication. The interior and exterior harmonize in a seamless way to create a haven of luxury living on the seas.
Since the yacht was designed from the get-go with the charter market in mind, it is clearly focused on offering guests the utmost comfort, entertainment, and luxury across all four decks. According to Emrecan Özgün of Unique Yacht Design, the yacht’s exterior spaces “surpass those of its predecessors, lending a sportive appearance to Bilgin 163.”
The four expansive decks are cleverly configured for maximum openness and functionality and include a 69-foot (21-meter) sundeck with a huge hot tub, a 39-foot (12-meter) bridge deck aft, and a spacious main deck aft that seamlessly transitions into the beach club and offers unhindered access to the sea without making the design seem bulky. In total, Eternal Spark can host over 100 guests quayside and features no less than five bars and six outdoor social areas, which makes it perfect for large stationary events.

One of the most spectacular features of the design is the sunken-level beach club aft, which comes complete with a sauna, an ice fountain, a day head, a wet bar, and a media screen lounge.
Apart from the expansive socializing and entertaining areas, the vessel offers a slew of luxury amenities, including a gym, indoor and outdoor cinemas, and various water toys to be used with a custom-built chase boat.
The Hot Lab-designed interior, meanwhile, highlights the intricate dance between form and function. It embodies a new philosophy of “Architecture for Voyagers” and is defined by a neutral color palette, soft lines, and more than 60 natural finishes, including 14 different marbles. All these elements contribute to creating a luxurious environment for guests on board.

The high-end interior design reminisces of the Côte d’Azur villas and is highlighted by a full-height round glass wall that separates the main salon from the lobby, a giant chandelier, and a floating staircase. Another standout feature is a skylight on the sundeck floor that allows natural light to penetrate the deck below.
With a generous beam of 30 feet (9.25 meters), Eternal Spark features a six-stateroom layout, so it can accommodate up to twelve guests overnight, with additional accommodation for ten crew members.
Aesthetics are meant to draw the eye, but it’s the underlying engineering that ensures the motor yacht can glide through the water with grace and elegance. The Eternal Spark superyacht is built in steel and aluminum, and its displacement hull, fuel capacity, and gross tonnage are perfectly calibrated to ensure a pleasant cruising experience. The yacht is equipped with twin 1,450 CAT C32 engines, which enable it to achieve a top speed of approximately 16.5 knots with low operational costs. At a cruise speed of 12 knots, it offers a range of 5,000 nautical miles (9,260 km).
