A man in Brazil crashed his Lamborghini into a pole while chasing a thief who had stolen his Rolex watch in the middle of a busy road.

The footage shows the driver of the Lamborghini ramming into a pole and also hitting the thief. The front of the Lamborghini is badly damaged, with smoke coming from its engine. Within seconds, the thief, who falls after being hit, gets up and runs away just moments before the Lamborghini driver exits his car to catch him.

As per CNN Brazil, the thief on the motorcycle approached the Lamborghini driver while he was stopped at a traffic light. The thief then forcibly took the watch and tried to escape from the scene.
According to Brazilian outlet Metropoles, the watch was valued at Brazilian real 200,000 (equivalent to $40,000 or Rs 32 lakh), and the suspected thief has been identified. Citing local police, the outlet reported that the man resides in Taboao da Serra and was riding a motorcycle registered in his mother’s name.
The outlet also reported that as the thief fled from the crash site, he left behind a .32-caliber revolver used in the robbery along with a cellphone, which helped investigators in identifying him.
