Over the years, Italian shipyard Custom Line has built an impressive fleet of luxury yachts with timelessly classic aesthetics and a special focus on the bespoke. Offering a balanced mix of elegant design, advanced technologies, ingenious layouts, and luxury amenities, each Custom Line yacht is a unique work of maritime art tailored to reflect the owner’s individuality.
Described as “an ode to beautiful design,” the newcomer is a 127-foot (39-meter) yacht that showcases a design in line with the series’ nautical tradition while also adopting a sporty style and ensuring continuity between indoor and outdoor spaces. Like all the vessels in the Navetta line, Navetta 38 boasts an exterior design by Filippo Salvetti, while the interiors were styled by Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel.
“Seeing a new Navetta enter the water is a powerful emotion,” said Alberto Galassi, Ferretti Group’s CEO. “As a great fan of the Custom Line world, I can assure you that Navetta 38 is seriously exciting and represents a new way to enjoy the sea, featuring elegant materials and interior and exterior spaces that offer unprecedented liveability.”

Boasting a sleek yet imposing silhouette with elegant sculptural lines, this new yacht was built with spatial fluidity and absolute comfort in mind. It is built with a GRP hull and combines form and function in every detail. All four decks are designed to offer elegance, liveability, and complete harmony with the marine environment, with key features like the expansive beach club area and the glass-lined main aft deck ensuring a seamless connection between interiors and exteriors and taking the yachting experience to a new level.
The beach club with transom platforms that fold out over the water and the main deck cockpit cover a combined area of over 70 square meters (753 square feet) and are totally open to maximize the use of the deck space and prioritize outside enjoyment. This open-air area is fitted with large sunbeds and an aft-facing upholstered bench, offering plenty of seating and lounging space right at the water’s edge. All the furnishings are freestanding modular units that allow for increased flexibility and multifunctionality.
Another highlight of the design is the 15-meter (49-foot) long sundeck with a shaded area for lounging and open space for the jacuzzi. This is also a versatile, multi-purpose area that encourages conviviality, relaxation, and enjoyment of the sea. For those moments when they want more privacy, the owners of Nevatta 38 can retreat to the foredeck lounge area, which is more intimate. Fitted with elegant white sun pads that invite them to stretch out, this space also offers uninterrupted views of the surrounding ocean.
The upper deck, meanwhile, houses an al-fresco dining space for up to ten people and a U-shaped sofa that invites relaxation.

The extensive use of glazing and open areas means that the outdoor spaces are much more interconnected with the interiors than on other superyachts. With a maximum beam of 8 meters (26.2 feet), the Navetta 38 boasts 299GT of interior volume that is further amplified by floor-to-ceiling windows.
The interior is where the owner’s personal stamp is more evident. Accommodation on board this new Custom Line yacht is for up to ten guests and seven crew members, including the captain. It boasts a forward full-beam master suite of over 40 square meters (430 square feet) on the main deck, complete with an ensuite bathroom, a desk area, large wardrobes, and four guest staterooms on the lower deck. Separated crew and guest passages ensure maximum privacy on board.
In terms of styling, the interior is characterized by a contemporary design developed around custom-made furniture, refined details, and fine materials with natural textures. Large glazing surfaces, mirrored surfaces, and a neutral color palette of delicate sand and ivory shades make the interior feel sophisticated yet welcoming. The understated elegance is further accentuated by the use of blonde wood oak panels on the ceilings on both interior and exterior decks.

“She is extraordinary but in a natural and harmonious way, with all the grace of a true thoroughbred. I’m sure she will be adored by all owners looking for a superior yachting experience,” concluded Alberto Galassi.
In terms of performance, the Navetta 38 motor yacht is equipped with a pair of MAN 1,400 hp engines that should enable it to reach a top speed of 15 knots (17 moh), with a range of about 2,800 nautical miles (5,185 km) at a speed of 10 knots (11.5 mph).
More details on the new Custom Line Navetta 38 will be revealed at the end of this month, as this masterpiece on the waves will be present at the Salone Nautico Venezia 2024 from May 29 to June 2.
