When gearheads Dennis Collins and Richard Rawlings decided to take a break from classic cars, it’s not as if they decided to go horsepower-free. Instead, they used their time off to “Zoom, Zoom, Zoom!”
Dennis Collins just covered his and his buddy Rawlings’ water trip aboard a 7,000-horsepower yacht on his eponymous YouTube channel, aboard the ‘Zoom Zoom Zoom’ by Trinity Yachts, and they came back blown away by it all. Not only does it come brimming with luxury, but it’s also one of the fastest super yachts that Collins has been on.
As the car expert filled up on coffee, his excitement over the trip was palpable as he spoke about the speed and power of the yacht, and how they made sure to go down and visit the engine room to see the massive mills rack up some amazing horsepower. Even if this steed didn’t have wheels, Collin and Rawlings made sure to get some wind in their hair as they enjoyed their day aboard a super yacht that has us yearning for a sail…
Dennis Collins Takes Fans Through a Bonus Coffee Walk
As Collins fills up a cuppa, he welcomes the fans to a “bonus coffee round,” which he describes as a bucket list of cool things he gets to do with some of his best friends in the world. Quite different from the walkaround of his car collection that piqued Rawlings’ interest, Collins talks about how they got an opportunity to go on the ‘Zoom Zoom Zoom,’ which was one of the fastest super yachts in the world back when Trinity Yachts built it. Collins calls the boat “absolutely amazing” given it runs 28 miles an hour and the team also made sure to go down to the engine room. They checked out twin V16 Caterpillar Motors that are roughly 3,400 horsepower each, making more than a combined 6,800 horsepower. Plus, Collins felt it was great because he got to hang out with his friends.
As Richard Rawlings claimed, “This is like a Coffee Walk on water!” Collins, along with Rawlings and two other buddies, Byron and Jared Riecke, share some common interests like road rallies, Gumball, and Bull Runs, which has made them “rally” good friends. Collins and Rawlings seem to love the break from their usual classic car auctions aboard the ‘Zoom Zoom Zoom’ given it’s still a fast super yacht, doing 24 knots top down, with 20 knots top cruising speed.
What Does It Take A Yacht To Do 24 Knots?
As Byron explains, it takes twin Caterpillar twin-turbo V6 engines each bearing 3,486 horsepower, for a total of almost 7,000 horsepower. But since seeing is believing, the quad sets out to see the engine room. Collins is happy to share the boat with Rawlings, unlike the Shelby Mustang he stole from the latter.
Before the engine though, they check out the yacht’s water-making capacities in its engine control room, given that it’s needed for everything from hosing down the decks and filling the Jacuzzi to maintenance and dishwashing, etc. The boat makes 2000 gallons a day with reverse osmosis, and then, of course, there’s also the considerable amount of electricity it needs. With a full house of 19 on board, guests and crew included, the boat runs on two 99 kilowatt units running on 60 Hz. There are backup generators as well, synchronized to take the heavy loads. As the ECR head explains it, everything comes automated, and it’s a beautiful system that manages it all. The power system on the boat is very sophisticated, enough to never drop the ball, keeping all systems synchronized and working in top order.
Its fuel tank takes in 16,000 gallons, so refueling the boat is an $80K expense, but then again, yachts don’t come cheap, for the renters or the owners. Collins and Rawlings were suitably impressed with it all, but it was only when they got to the actual engines that they looked like kids in a candy store. Of course, Collins usually looks this excited about the cars he wants to bring back to life as well.
With powerful mills that can go 20,000 hours before they require a rebuild, this 7,000-horsepower super yacht is quite a thing of technical and engineering beauty, and the Collins and Rawlings appreciate it all.

There’s More To The Technical Superiority Of The Zoom Zoom Zoom
This upper yacht comes built with an aluminum, semi-displacement hull and superstructure, for the perfect sea keeping and zippy speeds. Comfortable cruising speed is at 14 knots, and with her twin-turbocharged, dual Caterpillar engines, the yacht can reach a maximum speed of more than 24 knots with a range of up to 3,000 nautical miles. It seems fast boats rank right up with fast cars for Dennis Collins, a known Mustang fan.
They never push the range more than 4,500 nautical miles, from her 62,460 liter fuel tanks. This super yacht also has an advanced stabilization system on board, which works as a superior suspension, reducing the side-to-side roll of the yacht.
Of course, none of this comes cheap, given that per-week hiring charges for this yacht range from $175,000 to $195,000, plus expenses. Luxury comes at a price, and it’s only the rich and famous who can afford to call this yacht a temporary home as they cruise the stunning waters of the Bahamas. Then again, given Dennis Collins’ net worth, he can afford it.
Meet The Plush In The Super Yacht ‘Zoom Zoom Zoom’
Given the ‘Zoom Zoom Zoom’ is a super motor yacht, it comes 49.07 m or 161 feet long, offering accommodation for up to 10 guests in five tastefully appointed cabins. With interiors done by British designer Evan K Marshall, it offers five suites comprising a master suite, two VIP cabins, one double cabin, and one twin cabin. As per the website, it has 6 beds in total, including 3 kings, 1 queen, and 2 singles. Along with the 10 guests, the yacht carries up to 9 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht charter experience, making a total of 19 people on board.
Built in 2005, the owners refitted it in 2016 to ensure it kept up with the luxury of the times. It offers a beach club with a Jacuzzi and a swimming platform, plus has gym equipment and a deck BBQ, making it the perfect water getaway for the days you just need a break.
For the thrill seekers, there are flyboards the kind that let even beginners soar skywards before “dolphining” back into the water. The super yacht comes with towable toys like water skis, a sea bob, wakeboards, kayaks, fishing equipment, and much more. Plus, it also has two WaveRunners, and two Tenders, including a 12.19m/40′ Seahunter Tender.
As long as you have deep pockets, this boat is the ultimate in both luxury and power and can offer everything you need for a good time, as both Collins and Rawlings repeatedly tell their fans. Watch the video to see them lose their minds over the ‘Zoom Zoom Zoom.’
