Four teenagers have been charged after allegedly stealing luxury cars and leading police on a wild chase through the streets of the Gold Coast.
Two 15-year-old and two 16-year-old boys allegedly stole a grey Maserati Grecale and black Porsche Macan from a Broadbeach Waters home at 12.40pm on Sunday.
Both vehicles were spotted heading east on the Logan Motorway with a police helicopter tracking them southbound onto the M1 Motorway.
The Maserati came to a stop at Cayuga Street in Nerang after it became stuck on a median strip hours later at 3.30pm.
Officers arrested the two teenage boys inside the vehicle.
Footage showed a police officer race up to the vehicle and pull out one of the boys from the driver’s side of the car.

The Porsche stopped in Arundel a short time later and the other two boys were taken into custody.
Footage of the chase showed the luxury vehicle barrelling down the motorway, weaving between cars.
The Porsche then turned into a cul-de-sac forcing the teenagers to flee the car before they were pinned down by officers in dramatic scenes.
The teens were charged with various property and dangerous driving offences.
A 15-year-old Coomera boy was chargd with three counts each of enter dwelling and unlawful use of a motor vehicle and one count each of dangerous operation of a vehicle, unlicensed driving and possession of dangerous drug.
Another 15-year-old Coomera boy was charged with one count of enter dwelling and unlawful use of motor vehicle.
A 16-year-old Oxenford boy was charged with two counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle and one count each of enter dwelling, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and unlicensed driving.
A 16-year-old Pimpama boy was charged with one count of unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
All four will appear in Southport Children’s Court on Monday.
