Elle Ferguson has given an insight into her two wardrobes filled with designer clothes and revealed exactly what she does with her fashion freebies.

The influencer, 38, is well-known for her love of clothes and often shows off her lavish taste in fashion with glamorous outings at New York and Paris Fashion Weeks.

Now, Elle has given a further insight into her extensive clothes collection as she revealed her designer garbs spill over two jam-packed wardrobes.

Speaking exclusively to the Daily Mail at the Australian launch of electrolyte drink mix Liquid I.V., Elle also struggled to put a number on how many pairs of shoes she owns.

Of her sprawling fashion collection, she confessed: ‘Let’s put it this way, there’s not one wardrobe, there’s two! There’s a lot of shoes.’

From her endless visits to fashion and beauty events, Elle is also gifted a whole range of clothes and products, and she revealed exactly what she does with her freebies.

She told how she doesn’t keep them all for herself but often gifts them to her loved ones, as well as donating bags of clothes and beauty products to a women’s shelter.

She shared: ‘There’s a women’s shelter who I do a lot with and they make bags up for women who have come out of violent relationships.

‘I often put a lot of products in those and hand them over, which is great. They will accept them if you’ve opened them – not used but you’ve opened them and taken a video or something.

‘I also pay it forward, so probably every female and male in Joel and I’s life also get good gifting products. You see what people love then, it’s nice to get feedback from your nearest and dearest.’

Elle also gave an insight into her fitness journey, which saw her go from being a non-runner to being able to run 10K after she started exercising six days a week during the Covid-19 lockdown.

Elle admitted she had been warned off running throughout her life and told she didn’t have the ‘physique’ for it, before her AFL star fiancé Joel Patfull encouraged her to take up the sport.

Revealing exactly how she trained towards running 10K, Elle admitted ‘consistency’ was the key as she gave an insight into her intense six-day regime.

Of her fitness journey, she said: ‘It’s been going well. We have not hit 11k, I’ve had to accept 10k is my happy place – from a non-runner to 10k! It’s been amazing, I also think it’s been good to just break the barrier down for women to run.

‘I grew up being told running wasn’t for me – I was too tall and didn’t have the physique for it – and then Joel was like “everybody can run”. I was like “no I’m not built for running” and he was “like everyone can do it”.’

Speaking at the Aussie launch of electrolyte drink mix Liquid I.V., Elle gave an insight into her six-day workout regime and revealed how she has become an avid runner

‘There was no magic potion. The rule was that I had to stay on the treadmill for an hour and I could not get off – rain, hail or shine, I had to stay on for an hour,’ she went on.

‘I walked for an hour at 6.5 the speed, and then I got to 6k and I thought “what happens if I put 30 seconds of slow running in every 1k”, and gradually I turned the 30 seconds into a minute, and a minute into two, then two into five – and literally that’s how I did it.

‘I remember going on to Instagram and looking at run clubs and healthy hints and things like that, but I thought do you know what, if I’m going to do it, I’m going to do it. So that’s how I did it.

‘But consistency was key, that was the big thing, I was six days a week for an hour each day no matter what. Setting the boundaries for myself to have that hour every day was really important.’

‘Now it’s a happy place, throughout the first year it was an angry place – yes hell! – but now it’s a happy place,’ she added.

After picking up a six-day exercise regime in lockdown, Elle revealed she has stuck to the intense schedule ever since, joking that she has an ‘addictive personality’.

She also gushed over Joel’s support of her throughout her fitness journey, telling how they are always spurring each other on.

‘He’s been really invested in how good it makes me feel. He’s a true athlete – he is to his core an athlete – and I look at him and think “if you’re doing it, I’m doing it”. We compliment each other,’ she said.

Her comments came as she hosted the Australian launch event for American brand Liquid I.V., which is an electrolyte drink mix that aids rehydration

Speaking at the Australian launch event for American brand Liquid I.V., Elle told how she uses the product to rehydrate after exercising and while jetting around the globe on long-haul flights amid her busy schedule.

She said: ‘I discovered the brand in the US a few years ago because I do a lot of US travel and I always do fashion week in New York and a lot of work through LA.

‘So I actually came across the brand a few years ago and then when I found out it was launching into the Australian market, I was super excited. I really like the brand.’
