The first new Four Seasons Yachts vessel has achieved a key construction milestone.
Four Seasons, along with luxury yachting company Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings Ltd and Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri, held a keel-laying ceremony in Ancona, Italy, today.
The event marked the official start of construction on Four Seasons I, which is slated to set sail in January 2026. Executives from all three companies were on hand for the ceremony, which included welding three specially chosen coins to the bottom of the ship as a symbol of good luck.
When construction is finished, the all-suite, residential-style ship will sail in the Caribbean, followed by the Mediterranean. The partners also plan to build a second yacht.
“The keel laying ceremony marks a key milestone in the construction of our inaugural yacht and for the Four Seasons brand as we bring our renowned luxury service and hospitality experiences to the seas,” says Alejandro Reynal, president and chief executive officer of Four Seasons.
