EXTRA Yachts has launched the fourth unit of the X96 Triplex, christened M/Y Super Mario. This 28.5-metre (94-foot), 238 GT yacht is spread across four decks and stands out in its category for its volume.
The exterior design was crafted by Guida Design studio in collaboration with the EXTRA Yachts style team, while the interiors were designed by the international Hot Lab studio. Every detail of the interior layout was customised according to the owner’s and his family’s preferences, setting this unit apart with the addition of a sixth cabin on the upper deck and relocating the galley to the main deck.
Large floor-to-ceiling windows on both the main and upper decks highlight the outdoor environment, enhancing the connection with the sea and surrounding nature. The X96 Triplex features two VIP cabins and two twin cabins, all with en-suite bathrooms, located below the deck. The master cabin, located forward on the main deck, boasts a 7.6-metre beam.
The interior design features contemporary styling with natural oak floors, white-lacquered ceiling panels alternating with grey fabric, and boiseries in beige wood with glossy black lacquer details. Grey leather-clad columns add a tactile element, while white Calacatta marble accents enhance the elegance of the furniture tops and coffee tables.
The propulsion system of the X96 Triplex is powered by three robust Volvo Penta IPS engines, each delivering 1,000 horsepower. This powerful configuration enables M/Y Super Mario to reach a maximum speed of 17.5 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots, ensuring both performance and efficiency.
The introduction of M/Y Super Mario was facilitated by Igor Cherentaev from Aberton Yachts, underscoring the collaborative spirit and shared vision that brought this remarkable yacht to life.
