A man has been charged after allegedly keying six expensive cars in Sydney, causing an estimated $10,000 worth of damage.
Police are investigating separate incidents where six cars including three Teslas, an Audi, a Mercedes and a Golf were damaged during January and February this year.
The cars had been parked in shopping centres in Rouse Hill, Box Hills and Schofields.
Repairs for the cars are estimated to cost a whopping $10,000 and the 34-year-old man was arrested following a public appeal for assistance.
He was found with a three-bladed multi-tool when searched by police.
The man was remanded in custody overnight and is due to appear in Blacktown Local Court.
He was charged with six counts of malicious damage and one count of custody of an offensive implement in a public place.
Police inquiries are ongoing.
