Cadillac is returning to the ultra-luxury segment with the 2024 Celestiq and it’s going to cost around $340,000.
That’s far more than we’re used to seeing, but it’s nothing compared to the one-off Cadillac Celestiq Carmen that is the star of this year’s Neiman Marcus Christmas Book. It will set you back $975,000 and is the absolute in exclusivity.
The retailer didn’t go into many specifics, but said the specially commissioned car is “unlike anything available” and is a “bold artistic expression that takes driving to the next level.” That’s not much to go on, but the company confirmed the Celestiq Carmen will be equipped with Super Cruise, a smart glass roof, and a 55-inch pillar-to-pillar display.

The wealthy buyer can expect far more than that as the Celestiq has an adaptive air suspension, active rear steering, active roll control, and Magnetic Ride Control 4.0. The model also has power open and close doors, carbon fiber components, and more than 1,600 LEDs per vehicle.
Ultra-luxury cars are all about the interior and the Celestiq has the aforementioned 55-inch display as well as an 11-inch front command center. They’re joined by an 8-inch rear command center as well as 12.6-inch displays for back seat passengers.
Power comes from a 111 kWh battery pack, which feeds a dual-motor all-wheel drive system developing an estimated 600 hp (447 kW / 608 PS) and 640 lb-ft (867 Nm) of torque. This should enable the car to accelerate from 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) in 3.8 seconds and travel approximately 300 miles (483 km) on a single charge.
The buyer and a guest will receive a two-day trip to Detroit, where they’ll be given a behind-the-scenes look at the design and engineering process involved in creating a bespoke ultra-luxury vehicle. They’ll also visit the Cadillac House design studio and “witness craftsmanship at its most personal while observing your Celestiq being hand built at the Cadillac Artisan Center.”
Besides the automotive-focused activities, the trip will include a stay at a luxury hotel and meals at award-winning restaurants. Neiman Marcus says the duo will also “enjoy all the culinary, art, design, and history that Detroit has to offer.”
The vehicle went up for sale on October 25 and the nearly seven figure price tag includes a $25,000 donation to the Detroit Opera House. Neiman Marcus noted the latter is part of a longstanding tradition to incorporate a philanthropic component into their fantasy gifts as a way of “reminding customers of the importance of giving back.”
